Registration closes June 1st…

A lot of Tri’s to pick from this year…  The TriTheKenai on Sunday June 14th is just one of many…   If you’re interested in racing in the TTK this year, registration is still open until June 1st, so don’t wait too long.

Why do the TTK you ask?  Here are a few of the reasons… We offer adult sprint and intermediate distance events, adult and kids teams, and a kids tri as well.   We have a raffle for a $1000 gift certificate to Beemun’s, our local bike/ski/sport shop here in Slowdotna and all racers get free entry (one ticket) – need not be present to win and you can buy more for just a buck apiece, we offer a $8 food coupon for our on-site food vendor,  we have Jumping Junction’s bouncy house to entertain the younger kids, Beemun’s bike support on-site to take care of any bike issues, and we offer a pretty nice of swag bag full of goodies featuring heather tech t-shirts this year.  And chip timing by Skinny Raven of course, so you can see your results immediately.  We are a non-profit and we donate all but next year’s seed money to our charity of choice (Autism Society of Alaska this year) and our local non-profit partner Tsalteshi Trails Association.  The Kenai River Festival is in full swing all weekend as well and features a 5k Run for the River race on Saturday June 13th and they have great entertainment, local food vendors and many educational booths. We have partnered with a number of local lodging facilities for discounted pricing, so come spend the weekend on the peninsula.   Email wahoo@trithekenai.com if you have questions.    Thanks, Tony   TTK Event Director
